Investigative and general assignment reporter. Assignments included in-depth reports of legal system, including coverage of trials and interviews with attorneys, prosecutors and judges.
EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Mock Trial -- Active in judging mock trials and assisting varsity moot court teams at South Texas College of Law. As a student, advanced to semi-finals, quarter-finals and octi-finals in more than a dozen mock trials. In the fall of 1991, mock trial team reached final four out of 54 teams. Voted top ten oralist. Media and Law -- active in promoting understanding of the media and the law with the Houston Bar Association

STEVE PETROU, is a former investigative reporter who now devotes much of his energy to help people who have experienced harassment and discrimination on the job and wrongful termination. He also advocates on behalf of those who have been injured or otherwise hurt through the negligence or carelessness of others.
